Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about our services and process

Do you provide stamped drawings or engineering support?

We do not issue stamped drawings (PE/RA).
Our work is based on the drawings provided by your engineer or architect.
If needed, we can coordinate with your design team to help align stair and railing details with NYC building code before fabrication.

What is included in your DOB documentation package?

We do not prepare or file DOB paperwork.
What we do provide is a code-alignment review of your stair or railing scope, and a fabrication package that matches the design details from your engineer or architect.
This helps your team prepare the documents that inspectors typically expect to see on site.

How fast can you start emergency corrections?

Most emergency correction projects can be scheduled within 24–48 hours, depending on material availability and site access.
We focus on fast, code-aligned adjustments that allow your project to move forward without unnecessary delays

Do you work with both residential and commercial projects?

Yes. We fabricate and install stairs and railings for residential homes, commercial spaces, lofts, multifamily properties, and mixed-use buildings across NYC and Long Island.
Our process is optimized for both GC workflows and individual property owners.

What types of materials do you work with?

We work with a wide range of materials for stair and railing fabrication, including:

Metals:

- Steel (mild steel, structural shapes, plate)

- Aluminum
 - Stainless steel (304/316)

- Metal–wood hybrid systems

Wood species:

We fabricate stair treads, handrails, posts, and wood–metal combinations using:

- Red Oak

- White Oak

- Maple

- Pine

- Mahogany

- Walnut

- Other hardwoods upon request

(All wood selections are based on the specifications provided by your architect, engineer, or interior designer.)

Specialty railing systems:

- Cable railing systems

- Glass railings
 - Pipe railings

- Decorative and custom metalwork

We always fabricate according to the exact drawings and material requirements provided by the client’s design team.

Do you handle site measurements?

Yes. We perform on-site measurements and verification before fabrication to ensure that the manufactured components match field conditions and meet code spacing requirements.

Can you review our project before we schedule an inspection?

Yes. Our 48-point Pre-Inspection Review helps identify common stair and railing issues before the inspector arrives.
We focus on geometry, spacing, material compliance, and safety-critical elements.

How soon can I get a quote?

Most quotes are prepared within 24 hours after receiving drawings, scope, and project location
